MICHELIN Annual Extended Warranty for Passenger, Off-Road, and Winter Tires
The warranty applies to tires under the MICHELIN trademark for passenger cars, off-road (SUV) vehicles, and commercial transport, as listed.
Terms of Warranty Service
- Damaged tires must have been purchased between March 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025.
- Damaged tires must have been purchased by individual consumers.
- Damaged tires must have been purchased at a UNITYRE tire center participating in the Annual Warranty program.
- The consumer must contact the service for repair/replacement of the damaged Product (tire) no later than one year from the date of purchase of the Product (tire).
- In the event of Product replacement, the consumer’s claim regarding the specific Product unit must be made for the first time (replacement of a Product previously replaced under this Program or a similar previous program is not allowed).
Types of Damage Covered
Damage must be caused by one of the mechanical impacts listed below, resulting in the loss of the Product’s operational properties (other types of damage are not eligible for compensation). Only damages listed under the Extended Warranty are covered, provided the remaining tread depth is at least 4 mm for winter tires and at least 1.6 mm for summer and all-season tires:
- A through puncture/cut of the tire’s tread (running surface)
- A through puncture/cut of the tire’s sidewall
- A non-through damage of the sidewall and/or tread (running surface) causing exposure of the carcass cords or other internal layers of the tire
- Tire destruction due to hitting a foreign object
Cases Not Covered by the Program
- Intentional damage to the Product (acts of vandalism by the buyer and/or third parties).
- Damage caused by improper storage of the Product by the purchaser.
- Damage to the Product resulting from exposure to fuels, chemicals, or fire.
- Complaints related to the noise level of the Product.
- Lateral and radial run-out and/or imbalance of the Product.
- Damage to the Product resulting from mounting/dismounting.
- Damage to the Product caused by using a wheel rim of an incorrect size or a damaged wheel rim.
- Damage to the Product resulting from a road traffic accident or from contact with vehicle body or suspension elements.
- Damage to the Product related to operational conditions that do not compromise its airtightness. Such damage includes:
- Uneven wear caused by emergency braking with locked wheels
- Uneven wear due to malfunction of the vehicle’s suspension
- Uneven wear caused by improper wheel alignment
- Uneven wear due to incorrect tire pressure
- Wear related to the driver’s style of driving
- Wear caused by the specific nature of the road surface (sand, gravel, etc.)
- Superficial damage not leading to a loss of operational properties
- Damage to the Product caused by non-compliance with operating rules:
- Use of tires not suitable for the season (according to the Technical Regulation “On the Safety of Wheeled Vehicles” (TR CU 018/2011))
- Non-compliance with tire size, load index, speed index, and internal pressure recommended in the vehicle’s manual
- Stud loss and/or damage in MICHELIN tires; damage to MICHELIN tires if, at the time of the claim, the remaining tread depth is less than 4 mm for winter tires or less than 1.6 mm for summer tires.
- Damage resulting from use in extreme conditions (participation in competitions).
- Damage resulting from actions by law enforcement officers or other parties aimed at forcibly stopping the vehicle.
- Damage to tires that have been used with liquid sealant.

- The MICHELIN Extended Warranty period from the UNITYRE tire center network is 1 (one) year from the date of purchase of the Product.
- Warranty service under the MICHELIN Extended Warranty is available at any UNITYRE tire center.
- The MICHELIN Extended Warranty from the UNITYRE tire center network is provided upon presentation of the original itemized sales receipt and cash register receipt indicating the product name, as well as the original warranty certificate.
