We offer the “Unityre Extended Warranty” for the following brands: DAVANTI, COMFORSER, and FEDERAL. Tires covered by this warranty are marked with the special “Unityre Extended Warranty” stamp or brand-specific warranty symbols.
CONDITIONS OF THE “UNITYRE EXTENDED WARRANTY” PROGRAM FOR AUTOMOTIVE TIRES
1. Participants in the “Extended Warranty” Program
LLP “Unityre” is the organizer of the “Extended Warranty” program for the car tires listed below. Hereinafter referred to as the “Extended Warranty.”
“Tire Center” is any Unityre sales-and-service center that sells and installs the tires listed below in the cities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Buyer is the purchaser of the car tires of the listed manufacturers and models (whether an individual or a legal entity) who bought these tires at a Tire Center as a standalone product, received the “Extended Warranty” certificate, and is the end user of the purchased tires.
2. General Provisions
LLP “Unityre” provides an additional warranty and obligations for specific models of automotive tires (see the list below), collectively referred to as the “Extended Warranty,” according to the conditions set out below.
The “Extended Warranty” supplements the standard warranty terms for the listed tire brands and models provided by their manufacturer. This Extended Warranty only covers operational damages to tires (excluding damage sustained during tire mounting).
The “Extended Warranty” applies exclusively to tires purchased and installed at Unityre Tire Centers as a standalone product.
The “Unityre Extended Warranty” applies to all sizes of only the following models purchased by the Buyer during the warranty’s validity period:
The Buyer may bring a damaged tire to the Tire Center for repair/replacement or to request financial compensation under the “Extended Warranty” within one year from the tire’s installation date on the Buyer’s vehicle. This date is recorded in the Warranty Certificate and confirmed by the installer’s signature and the “For Warranty Certificates” stamp at UNITYRE Tire Centers.
According to the “Extended Warranty” terms, in the event of unintentional operational damage to tires purchased by the Buyer, LLP “Unityre,” through its Tire Centers, will provide one-time free repair or a one-time replacement (only if the tire is irreparable) or pay compensation in cash (only if the tire necessary for replacement is unavailable at the Tire Center, at LLP “Unityre,” or from the manufacturer).
Cash compensation is paid within no more than 30 calendar days. The compensation amount corresponds to the amount the Buyer originally paid (confirmed by the original or a copy of the payment document), minus a sum equal to the tire’s wear percentage at the time of the claim. For calculation purposes, “100% tread” is considered to be that of a new tire, while “0%” is considered to be a tread depth of 4 mm, regardless of the tire’s season. If a tire is replaced, the wear percentage is also taken into account, and the customer pays the difference proportionate to the damaged tire’s wear.
LLP “Unityre” obligations under the “Extended Warranty” only cover the following operational damages:
punctures
cuts
sidewall bulges due to impact or hitting a pothole
tire ruptures due to impact
Exclusions — Damages Not Covered by the “Unityre Extended Warranty”
Intentional damage (vandalism by the Buyer or third parties).
Damage caused by improper storage.
Damage sustained during mounting/dismounting or due to imbalance.
Damage caused by using an improperly sized or damaged wheel rim.
Damage resulting from a traffic accident, or damage to tires caused by the car’s body or suspension components.
Axial or radial runout and/or imbalance of the tire.
Damages related to usage conditions that do not compromise tire airtightness:
uneven wear from emergency braking with locked wheels,
uneven wear due to vehicle suspension problems,
uneven wear due to incorrect wheel alignment,
uneven wear due to improper inflation pressure,
wear caused by driving style,
superficial damage not affecting performance.
Damage due to failure to observe proper tire usage guidelines:
using tires outside their intended season (winter tires below +7°C, summer tires above +7°C),
not following the specified tire size, load index, speed rating, and internal inflation pressure as recommended in the vehicle owner’s manual.
Tires used without adequate air pressure (e.g., tires showing sidewall ruptures, splits, chipping, or melting of the inner sealing layer due to running flat — even if the flat was initially caused by a mechanical puncture).
Lost or fallen-out studs.
Noise issues.
Tires that have already been repaired.
Tires with a minimum remaining tread depth less than 4 mm.
Damage caused by exposure to fuels, lubricants, chemicals, or fire.
Damage caused by natural disasters (flood, earthquake, hurricane).
Damage caused by extreme usage conditions (participation in motorsports or show events).
Damage inflicted by law enforcement or other authorities aimed at forcibly stopping the vehicle.
The obligations of LLP “Unityre” under the “Extended Warranty” do not apply to:
Tires received free of charge (as a gift).
Tires previously replaced under the “Unityre Extended Warranty” program.
Tires not installed at Unityre service centers.
Discontinued tire models sold at special promotional prices in Unityre’s network.
Mandatory Requirements for the “Extended Warranty” to Be Valid
The Buyer must have:
A properly completed “Extended Warranty” certificate, which includes information about the purchased tires. This certificate is provided at the Tire Center when the tires are purchased. DOT codes are recorded upon installation and confirmed with the stamp. The certificate must contain:
The Buyer’s full name (for an individual) or the company name (for a legal entity).
The tire’s make, model, and size.
The tire’s DOT code.
The purchase date.
The name and address of the Tire Center.
The Tire Center’s “For Warranty Certificates” stamp.
The Buyer’s signature (for an individual) or the signature of the Buyer’s representative (for a legal entity), confirming that they have read and agree to the “Extended Warranty” terms.
A waybill or invoice (for a legal entity). These documents must show the purchase date, model, size, and price of the tire.
Damaged tires are inspected, and a decision on repair or replacement is made at any Unityre Tire Center in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Addresses of Tire Centers and information about the “Extended Warranty” are available on the official LLP “Unityre” website: www.unityre.kz.
3. Rules and Procedures
3.1. The Buyer
If operational damage is discovered on a tire covered by the “Extended Warranty,” the Buyer may contact any Unityre Tire Center within one year from the tire’s purchase date for repair, or for replacement/financial compensation (if the tire is irreparable and cannot be replaced).
If the Buyer disagrees with the Tire Center’s assessment of the tire’s damage, the Buyer may seek an independent examination. The examination costs will be reimbursed by LLP “Unityre” if the findings confirm that the damage was not related to any violation of the usage rules described in paragraphs 7 and 8 above.
Adhere to the tire size, load index, and speed rating specified in the vehicle’s operating manual.
Refrain from deliberate damage to the tires.
Present the damaged tire to the Tire Center staff and allow them to inspect it.
If the Buyer is an individual, they must present their driver’s license.
If the Buyer is a representative of a legal entity, they must provide both a valid personal ID and a power of attorney (issued by the legal entity) granting them authority to carry out all necessary actions under the “Extended Warranty,” including the right to sign any required documents.
3.2. Tire Center
When a Buyer requests service under the “Extended Warranty,” the Tire Center will:
Verify the purchase date, tire model, size, and DOT code against the documentation (if the information does not match or the Buyer lacks the required documents, no repair/replacement will be provided).
Assess the damage and determine whether the tire can be repaired or must be replaced with a tire of the same model and size. (If the situation is complex or contested, an examination must be completed within 20 calendar days.)
Perform repairs only if the tread puncture diameter does not exceed 6 mm.
Note that the “Extended Warranty” does not apply to repaired or replaced tires, and no new warranty certificate will be issued for them.
If the damaged tire’s model is discontinued or unavailable at the Tire Center, at LLP “Unityre,” or from the manufacturer, LLP “Unityre” will pay cash compensation equal to the remaining value of the damaged tire (what the Buyer initially paid, minus the wear percentage).
In the event of a tire replacement or cash compensation, the Buyer must surrender the damaged tire to LLP “Unityre” for disposal.
When selling tires, the Tire Center staff must:
Explain the “Extended Warranty” rules to Buyers.
Advise Buyers about the steps to take if their tires are damaged and covered by the “Extended Warranty.”
Issue the Buyer a fully completed “Extended Warranty” certificate with a stamp and the Tire Center employee’s signature at the time of purchase, as well as a waybill for the tires.
If the tires are purchased for multiple vehicles, issue one “Extended Warranty” certificate indicating the legal entity or individual entrepreneur’s name, along with a list of DOT codes for the tires sold, stamped and signed by a Tire Center employee.
After installing the tires at the Tire Center, record the installed tires’ DOT codes in the certificate and add the “For Warranty Certificates” stamp.
Validity of the “Extended Warranty” Terms
These “Extended Warranty” terms came into effect on April 1, 2014 and remain in force until the one-year coverage period under the “Extended Warranty” expires for the tires covered by these terms.
