Extended Warranty by Ikon Tyres (Nokian Tyres)—Free Tire Repair or Replacement
When you purchase an Ikon Tyres (Nokian Tyres) tire with Extended Warranty, we will replace it free of charge in the event of accidental damage!

The Extended Warranty is an addition to the standard warranty terms for Ikon Tyres. This unique program from the tire manufacturer confirms the high quality of Nokian Tyres products.

The Nokian Tyres Extended Warranty supplements the standard warranty conditions. In the event of unintentional damage, Nokian Tyres will repair each damaged tire free of charge or, if repairs are not possible, replace it with a new one. Many tire models are covered by a Lifetime Extended Warranty.

2024 Extended Warranty Program Rules

Tire Models

*All extended warranty coverage is valid until the tread depth reaches 4 mm.

Lifetime Extended Warranty

Allows the Consumer to repair the tire once free of charge (if the tire can be repaired) and replace the damaged tire once free of charge (if the tire cannot be repaired) within an unlimited time after purchase, subject to these Extended Warranty Terms.
Tire fitting services (mounting/dismounting) required for the Lifetime Extended Warranty are provided by the Authorized Sales Outlet at no charge to the Consumer.

Extended Warranty

Allows the Consumer to receive a 50% discount on a new tire of the same model if the original purchased tire is damaged (and cannot be repaired) within one year of purchase. The discount is based on the price listed by the Authorized Sales Outlet at the time the Consumer makes the claim.
The Extended Warranty discount does not apply to the purchase of other tire models.
The Authorized Sales Outlet decides independently whether the Extended Warranty discount can be combined with other discounts or promotions in effect when the Consumer makes the claim.
The Extended Warranty covers only operational damages such as punctures, cuts/tears larger than 6 mm, and sidewall bulges, excluding intentional damage (vandalism by the Consumer or third parties). If the tire can be repaired, the Consumer may have the repair performed at the Authorized Sales Outlet or any other service point.
Mounting/dismounting costs required under the Extended Warranty are paid by the Consumer and may be performed either at the Authorized Sales Outlet or any other service point.
The cost of repairing Nokian Nordman SZ, Nokian Nordman S SUV, Nokian Nordman 7, Nokian Nordman 7 SUV, Nokian Nordman RS2, and Nokian Nordman RS2 SUV tires is paid by the Consumer.
The Extended Warranty also applies to these models produced with Run Flat or Flat Run technology.
It covers only operational (unintentional) damages such as punctures, cuts/tears, and sidewall bulges, and includes damage resulting from a traffic accident.
The Extended Warranty does not apply to tires received as a gift.

Cases in Which the Extended Warranty Is Not Provided

1. Intentional tire damage (vandalism by the consumer or third parties).
2. Damage caused by improper storage.
3. Damage sustained during mounting/dismounting or installing balancing weights.
4. Damage caused by using a rim not suited to the tire or a deformed/defective rim.
5. Damage that does not affect tire airtightness but relates to usage factors (uneven wear from emergency braking with locked wheels; uneven wear due to faulty suspension components; uneven wear due to improper wheel alignment; uneven wear from incorrect inflation pressure; wear related to driving style or road surface specifics; superficial damage not impacting performance).
6. Damage caused by failing to observe the rules for tire usage (e.g., using out-of-season tires based on the climate conditions of the Republic of Kazakhstan; failing to follow the size, load index, and speed rating recommended in the vehicle manual; incorrect inflation pressure).
7. Damage resulting from operating the tire with insufficient pressure (running flat), such as sidewall tears or partial/complete separation of the sidewall and bead from the tread and other components, even if the loss of pressure initially resulted from a mechanical puncture.
8. Damage caused by exposure to fuels, chemicals, or fire.
9. Loss of anti-skid studs.
10. Excessive noise levels (per the consumer’s or third parties’ assessment).
11. Perceived poor traction (per the consumer’s or third parties’ assessment).
12. Tire vibration or axial/radial runout and/or imbalance.
13. Tire repairs performed outside an Authorized Sales Outlet.
14. Damage from a previously performed repair that was not conducted at an Authorized Sales Outlet.
15. Damage caused by natural disasters (flood, earthquake, hurricane).
16. Damage caused by extreme usage conditions (racing, drifting, etc.).
17. Damage caused by law enforcement or other parties acting to forcibly stop the vehicle.
18. Tires with remaining tread depth of less than 4 mm.
19. Tires that have already been replaced or purchased at a 50% discount under the Extended Warranty.
20. Cases in which the consumer does not present the required set of documents.
21. Refusal by the consumer to explain discrepancies found by the Authorized Sales Outlet in the documents presented, or refusal to submit a written explanation.

Mandatory Conditions for the Consumer to Receive Extended Warranty Services

1. A properly completed Warranty Certificate for the tire (or set of tires), which the Consumer receives from the Extended Warranty Participant upon purchasing Nokian Tyres (Appendix No. 5). The Warranty Certificate must be carefully, accurately, and completely filled out. It must include the Consumer’s full name; the make, model, and state license plate or VIN of the vehicle for which the tires are purchased; the Consumer’s cell phone number and email address; the tire model, size, and code (8 characters after “DOT”); the Extended Warranty Participant’s stamp; and the Consumer’s signature confirming that they have read these Extended Warranty Terms before the purchase and agree to the processing of personal data and verification of the provided information for the purpose of the Extended Warranty.
2. Properly issued documentation confirming that the Consumer purchased the tires (cash or non-cash). The purchase documents must be carefully, accurately, and completely filled out, indicating the place and date of purchase, the tire model and size, and the tire cost.
3. The Consumer is prohibited from transferring the right to receive services under the Extended Warranty Program to any third party.

If any or all of the required information is missing from the Extended Warranty Certificate, the Authorized Sales Outlet is entitled to refuse free tire repair or replacement under the Extended Warranty and/or declare the provision of Extended Warranty services to be invalid.
